About this Olympiad

The iOM is conducted by SilverZone Foundation and aims to promote mathematical problem-solving across India and abroad. It is a three-level competition — Level 1 in the participant's own school, Level 2 for the top ranks nationally, and Level 3 in New Delhi for International 1st Rank holders. The paper tests mental ability, reasoning and standard mathematical concepts through three fixed sections.

Eligibility criteria

  • aLevel 1: All students of Classes 1 to 12 are eligible to take part.
  • bLevel 2: Top 1000 students who rank between 4th and 1003rd in Level 1 across Classes 3 to 12 with a minimum of 50% marks. Also, Class 1st Rank holders across Classes 3 to 12 with a minimum of 75% marks and 100 participants in the subject from their school.
  • cLevel 3: International 1st Rank holders from Classes 6 to 12 in Level 2 — conducted in New Delhi, India.
