1. Who we are

Quanta Kids (“we”, “us”, “our”) is an online maths olympiad preparation platform for Indian students in Class 3–5. Our website is quantakids.in.

2. Information we collect

When you create an account, we collect:

• Parent's name and email address
• Child's first name and class (3, 4, or 5)
• Account password (stored securely via Supabase Auth — we never see or store your plaintext password)

When your child uses the platform, we automatically collect:

• Practice progress (concepts completed, quiz answers, XP earned, streak data)
• Mock exam scores and time taken
• Usage analytics via Google Analytics (pages visited, sign-up, and practice/purchase events, device type, and approximate region). Google Analytics does not store full IP addresses.
• Anonymous performance and error data (browser type, screen size, page-load speed, and crash reports) — collected without cookies to keep the app fast and stable

We use this only to improve the product. We do not use advertising trackers, we do not sell your data, and we never show ads.

We do not collect: phone numbers, school names, physical addresses, photographs, or any government ID numbers.

3. How we use your information

• To provide the learning platform and track your child's progress
• To personalise content based on the selected class
• To generate the parent dashboard and weekly snapshot
• To process payments (if you subscribe to Premium)
• To send account-related emails (confirmation, password reset)

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not show ads.

4. Data storage and security

Account data is stored securely on Supabase (cloud infrastructure). Practice progress is currently stored in your browser's local storage and is not synced to our servers. All data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS.

We rely on a small number of trusted service providers, and share only the minimum data each one needs:

• Supabase — account authentication and secure data storage
• Razorpay — payment processing (only if you subscribe to Premium)
• Vercel — website hosting and anonymous, cookieless page-speed metrics
• Sentry — anonymous crash/error reports so we can fix bugs (no cookies)
• Google Analytics — anonymous usage analytics to see which lessons work best (sets first-party analytics cookies; does not store full IP addresses)

We retain account and progress data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days.

5. Children's privacy

Quanta Kids is designed for children aged 7–11 (Class 3–5). We collect only the minimum data necessary to provide the service. A parent or guardian must create the account on behalf of the child. Children cannot create accounts independently.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication (keeping you logged in) and first-party analytics cookies set by Google Analytics to understand how the platform is used. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not allow third parties to track you across other websites.

7. Your rights

You can:

• Access your account data at any time via the Account page
• Delete your account by contacting us at support@quantakids.in
• Reset your password at any time
• Request a copy of your data by emailing us

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
