About this Olympiad
The SOF IMO is conducted by the Science Olympiad Foundation and is one of the most widely attempted Olympiads in India. It tests mathematical concepts, logical reasoning and everyday mathematics through MCQs, and each participant receives a Student Performance Report (SPR) breaking down strengths and weaknesses across topics.
- Conducted in two levels — Level 1 (school) and Level 2 (top scorers nationwide)
- Detailed Student Performance Report for every participant
- Two sets of papers in the same level to prevent malpractice
- Medals, certificates and cash prizes for high rankers

Total 40 marks. Achievers section weighted 2×. No negative marking. Level 1 = 60% current class + 40% previous class.
