💡 Here's the trick
A tally table has a row for each choice. Add one tally each time, then count the tallies in each row.
Apples have 5 tallies and bananas have 3, so 5 friends chose apples and 3 chose bananas.

Mangoes have one bundle and one line. How many chose mango? → 6.
